During the interview process I was instructed to do a project and target it to the customer. While keeping the customer in mind please see below of the designs I came up with. This was done with no feedback and it is what got me the job at Claire’s Inc. I only had 2 weeks to complete.
While working at Claire’s as an Assistant Product Designer, I worked on SS18 and FH18 lines. Please see images to the right of products I worked on. I worked on various product categories such as, dress up sets, jelly coins, cross bodies, backpacks, scarves, earmuffs, socks, baseball hats, clutches, handbags, wristlets, coin purses, journals, pencil cases, waterbottles, tumblers, pillows, and various other accessory/novelty product assortment. I also worked on licensing Nickelodeon products for JoJo Siwa. Overall, I worked on 6 different that consisted of under and over 12 products.

While working at Claire’s as an Assistant Product Designer, one of my main responsibilities were to do various tech packs on 6 different departments which includes: D12, D21, D29, D30, D49, and D27 that consisted of under and over 12 products. I averaged 10-15 tech packs a day while fulfilling other needs of the department. Please check out below what one tech pack looked like for a particular style. I had to keep/learn different materials such as: silicone, plastics , and be able to understand the construction of the item as well as the placement of prints/graphics.
